IE Troubleshoot

Run the batch file: -

Download the ZIP file from the bellow address and save it on your desktop.

Unzip the file and double click the file “IETroubleshooter.bat”.

It will open the command window and will perform the rest troubleshot for IE.

Once it finished, close the command window.

Note: It will clear all the temp files from your PC and will re registered the dll files which is important in functioning IE.

After that go to the following link..

http://www.java.com

  • In the green button “Free Java Download” will be there. Click that..
  • You can find a small extra tool bar like thing, just bellow to address bar.
  • Right click on it and click “Install Active X Control.”
  • It will install the java application.

Please follow the steps after that.

While ask for install Google toolbar… “Un-check both the option”

  • Note: – Toolbar are one of the main reasons for IE to go wrong. So remove all the toolbars installed in your PC by going to Start ==> Control Panel ==> Add/Remove Program.

And finish the rest of the steps.

Now try to use your IE normally.

If all the above steps fail to resolve your Issue you can reinstall the IE:

Start ==> Control Panel ==> Add/Remove Program

On the left side..

Click “Add/Remove Windows Components”

It will open a new window for you.

  • Please Uncheck the “Internet Explorer” and then Click “Next”
  • It will uninstall the IE from Computer. Once it is done. Then restart the computer.
  • After that again go to the Windows componet Wizard.
  • Start ==> Control Panel ==> Add/Remove Program
  • On the left side..
  • Click “Add/Remove Windows Components”
  • It will open a new window for you.
  • This time please Check the “Internet Explorer” and then Click “Next”
  • It will reinstall the application for you. Again restart it will be a fresh copy of IE in your comp. it will work.
